I’m Tammeryn, founder of Marula Studio - a place where design meets authenticity, and every space tells a story.

​

With more than a decade of experience in architecture, interior design, and project management, I’ve learned that good design isn’t just about how a space looks, it’s about how it makes you feel. Too often, design can seem intimidating or out of reach, and my mission is to change that by creating a process that’s collaborative, transparent, and deeply personal.

Originally from South Africa and now based in Canada, my work is inspired by a love of colour, pattern, and cultural storytelling. I draw inspiration from the textures, vibrancy, and warmth of my roots, infusing each project with that same energy and spirit of connection.

As both an interior designer and a change management practitioner, I help clients not only transform their spaces but also navigate the emotional and practical shifts that come with it. Design can be one of the most rewarding changes you’ll experience, and I’m here to coach you through that journey, helping you feel grounded, confident, and inspired every step of the way.

At Marula Studio, I help clients find their design voice, drawing out the authentic expression of who they are through colour, pattern, and thoughtful detail. Every space becomes a reflection of the people who live within it, layered, meaningful, and distinctly their own.
